St. George Youth Group Begins a New Season in Fellowship and Faith

The St. George Youth Group joyfully started a new season with an evening of fellowship, faith, and meaningful conversation. Hosted with warm hospitality by Dr. Ray and Angelina Alavanja, the gathering created a cozy and welcoming atmosphere for spiritual growth and reflection.

Meeting once a month, our youth group provides a supportive and faith-focused environment for young people. These gatherings go beyond just socializing, offering chances for learning, encouragement, and guidance. A special part of each meeting is time with our spiritual father, Fr. Radovan, who shares wisdom based on the Orthodox Christian faith.

This month’s discussion focused on the challenges of high school and everyday life, promoting open conversations about staying strong in today’s fast-paced society. Honest dialogue reminded everyone that we are never alone—our faith, the Church, and our community remain constant sources of strength and support.

We are thankful for this blessed evening and look forward to our next gathering. May God continue to strengthen our youth group and guide us as we grow together in Christ.
